- We type in #include in order to let the program know , we are adding a library that we will use in out code.
- One of the most common libraries that we use is the <IOStream> which allows us to use commands such as cin and cout which make inputting and outputting information a lot quicker with little effort involved.
- Before the standard input/output library computer programs offered little interaction with the user.
- Another library that you are most likely to include is the ‘String‘ library which adds a data type to your program allowing you to use the ‘string’ which is probably one of the import data types when it comes to interaction with the user. That is because string allows you to display information on screen with little hassle.
- For example: you could display the data on the stream by using arrays and chars making them appear next to each other making a line of text, as you can imagine this method if very time-consuming therefore using string is more efficient.
